Rose City Live is the brother team of Stuart Wainstock and Barry Wainstock. We are originally from Los Angeles, CA and moved to Portland, OR in April of 2011. RCL started as a way to explore the city and all the events it has to offer.  There is so much wonderful music around town with plenty of sites creating previews of shows, but not much reporting on what actually happened at the event. RCL is a labor of love, without a parent company feeding funds our way.  In the spring of 2012 RCL moved from Portland, OR and started a new chapter of coverage in Minneapolis, MN and the Bay Area.

We both wear multiple hats in the organization, taking pride in being active on all social media outlets, each with different content. As easy as it would be to push the same social communication out from one place, we feel a touch of personalization goes a long way.

All of the photography on Rose City Live is by Stuart Wainstock, unless a PR photo was used. Please contact us if you would like to use a photo from a show or event for your Tumblr, Facebook, Bandcamp, band website, etc. If you don’t it’s called stealing and that sucks.
